Description: A perennial grass with strongly lemon scented foliage. Leaves are used as a herb. Grow in pots or in the herb garden. Use fresh or dried leaves in curries, stir-fries, chicken and fish dishes as well as in herbal teas. Thrives in moist, well drained soil in a sunny position protected from frost. Grows vigorously in warmer climates. Grow in pots in cooler climates, moving them into warmer areas as required.
