Description: Large single to semi-double pink flowers comprise a wide bushy growth that is medium in height and flowers mid season. Azaleas grow in acidic well-drained soil, with high humus content and prefer a semi-sheltered position.
Care should be taken not to break the main root ball when planting out from the container. The hole for planting should be twice the area of the root ball, and 8-10cm deeper, which is back filled to give roots an easy start. Build up depth of topsoil rather than dig down in clay soils. Place in the hole with top of root ball level with garden bed. Fill in, firm down soil and create 4-7cm depression to act as a water basin.
