Grevillea thelemaniana ‘Red Wings’

Variety:  Grevillea thelemaniana ‘Red Wings’.

Description: Red Wings is a delightful low growing shrub from Pinaroo in WA which adapts well to a wide range of growing conditions preferring full sun with good drainage. It has bight red flowers from late Winter to early Summer and is tolerant of light frosts. It requires a light prune in late Spring if needed, followed by a feed of Osmocote. A few native nurseries in WA were growing this attractive garden plant. Clive Larkman was given a plant by a WA nurseryman, which has been trailed in several eastern states where it performed very well as a general shrub, small hedge and bird attracter.

Plant Type: Native.
