Description: A dwarf evergreen shrub with a spreading semi-prostrate habit, Mellow Yellow features bright yellow aromatic fine foliage which provides interest and colour for your garden all year round. Masses of star shaped pale pink to white flowers smother the plant from mid-Winter to late Spring, adding even more colour to the garden when it needs it most.
Mellow Yellow is ideal for planting in rockeries, general garden planting, tub culture, mass planting or as a small hedge or garden edge. The plant is naturally founded with a flat top and a light tip prune after flowering will keep it compact. Move any green shoots if they appear.
Mellow Yellow is very hardy, thriving in an open sunny position in moist well-draining soil. Plants tolerate frost, semi-shade and short periods of dryness once established. Apply a complete fertilizer in Spring to encourage lush new growth.
Dig a hole twice the width of the container. Place the plant in the hole so the soil level of the plant is the same as the surrounding soil. Fill hole firmly, and water well even if the soil is moist.
