A hardy, almost ''indestructible'' indoor plant with very low light requirements that also make it suitable to difficult shaded positions in the garden. Thrives in summer, but also tolerant of the cold. Prefers well draining soil, but will tolerant sandy or clay soils. Let soil dry out between watering. Clumping nature.
