Description of plant at maturity:
Distinctive, evergreen shrub with fine, heath-like foliage. Orange shaded flower spikes are displayed in spring.

Useful hedging and screening plant. The flowers attract nectar feeding birds and are great as cut flowers. Keep moist until established, and mulch well. Prune after flowering if required. Grows easily in a variety of sites, but prefers well drained sandy or loamy soil. Tolerates coastal conditions.
