Description of plant at maturity:
Easily grown in the home garden, blackberries are full of nutrients, in particular, vitamin C. Chester is a thornless, non invasive variety producing large, deep black berries throughout summer.

The deciduous shrub prefers a sunny to part shaded position, in moist, well drained soil. Prune the plant down to ground level after the first fruiting season and each spring, prune to 5-6 canes. This will give maximum harvest.
