Callistemon dwarf Hybrid - Matthew Flinders

Matthew Flinders is a dwarf hydrid between the two most popular Callistemons on the Australian market today, Little John and Captain Cook.

Matthew Flinders is excellent for attracting nectar feeding birds and insects into your garden. This dwarf evergreen Australian native produces masses of crimson-red bottlebrush flowers.

Matthew Flinders is ideal for rockeries, large tubs, garden beds or mass planted for a dwarf compact feature hedge.

Grows well in most soil conditions as Callistemons are renowned for being hardy and adaptable in drier and moist areas. Will also tolerate light frost & winds. Regular light pruning, particularly after flowering, will result in a denser plant with lush new growth and more prolific flowering.
