Lagerstroemia indica - Tuscaroa - Crepe Myrtle 330mm
Also available in 155mm Sqt and 200mm
Landscape value: Possibly the best of the dark fuchsia-pink flowering cultivars in the Indian Summer® range. The flowers and highly ornamental bark make this tough small tree a useful specimen or screening tree. Can also be used as a street tree.
Tolerances: Adaptable to a range of conditions, heat and some dryness but requires adequate moisture during establishment. Bred for resistance to powdery mildew.
Comments: Best in moist, well drained, slightly acidic soils in a position receiving full sun. Transplants easily provided adequate moisture levels are maintained. Bare rooted Indian Summer® Lagerstroemia should be pruned back by 30% when planted – this will help promote spring growth by allowing the plant to first establish a strong root system.
