Phormium Apricot Queen
Description: This handsome, clumping plant produces upright foliage that will provide a strong architectural statement in the garden. Apricot Queen can be planted as an individual specimen or can be mass planted to achieve a stunning effect. The striking, strap-like foliage is marked by a mix of prominent vertical stripes of colour including apricot, cream, yellow and green. Each blade of foliage is brilliantly accentuated by bold edges of red; creating a dramatic overall effect.
Perfectly suited to coastal gardens, low maintenance gardens and container growing, the foliage can also be used to brilliant affect in floral arrangements. Phormiums grow in most soil conditions, however they prefer a moist, well-drained position with at least half a day of full sun to enhance foliage colour.
