Lomandra - Little Con
Lomandra Confertifolia - Little Con
Description: A rare and unusual native, Australian Lomandra grows into a small rounded ball-shaped plant approximately 30cm x 30cm. Hardy and tolerant to most soil types it will grow in full sun or partial shade. Small spikes of cream flowers are borne within the foliage in Spring.
When required, Little Con rejuvenates well with a general trim. Cut down to approximately 10cm from the base in early Spring or Autumn followed by a small application of a well balanced native fertilizer. Avoid cutting in mid-Summer when heat stress may occur. In the garden Little Con is ideal as a formal border, for mass plantings, or rockeries, and is also a proven performer in roundabouts and median strips.
Planting Conditions: Full sun/part shade; native.
Plant Type: Hedge/Native.
