Grevillea - Robyn Gordon
Description: A small spreading evergreen shrub with attractive, fern like foliage. For most of the year it bears a profusion of pinkish red flowers, ageing to rosy red.
This popular Australian native shrub is an ideal screening plant or garden specimen as it flowers almost continually. The flowers attract nectar-eating birds.
Requires and open, sunny position and moist, well-drained soil. Tolerates moderate frost. Prune annually after flowering for best results.
Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from container and place into the hole, so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill the hole firmly and water in well, even if the soil is moist.
Planting Conditions: Full sun/part shade; prostrate; Australian plant.
Watering Conditions: Low water requirement once established.
Plant Type: Native.
