Description of plant at maturity:
A spiny large shrub or small tree with white flowers appearing from autumn to summer. The cylindrical, elongated green, yellow, brown, black or purple fruits ripen in autumn and contain flavourful, caviar-like vesicles in shades of green, yellow or pink. Use fruit in sweet and savoury dishes, jams and jellies or as a garnish.

Grow in a sunny to partly shaded position in moist, well drained soil. Sites should ideally be frost-free. Protect from hot or cold winds. Suitable for large pots. Water regularly during growth flushes, flowering and fruit set. Plant will begin to bear fruit in the 2nd or 3rd year.
