Description of plant at maturity:
Sublime is a semi-dwarfing patio, fruiting lime. To ensure your plant remains looking fantastic, we recommend planting in a large tub or decorative pot, using a high quality potting mix, positioned in a sunny or partly shaded position. Altitude is no issue for Sublime, making it the perfect modern and useful pot plant for the high rise balcony.

Sublime is a compact growing small tree, bearing very juicy and versatile home grown fruit. An application of citrus fertiliser early autumn and spring would be beneficial. In a pot, it will reach 1.5x1m. However, in the ground it will grow to approximately 3m high.

Limes are extremely versatile; highly valued in cooking for both their juice and zest. They are fantastic for drinks, seafood dishes, chicken, meats, desserts, cakes, biscuits and marmalade. Juice of limes may be frozen for later use for a period of up to 3 months. Limes are sold green, but if left on the plant will ripen to yellow.

Nutritionally, limes are very good sources of vitamin C, dietary fibre, and calcium, copper, and are low in sodium. Due to the high vitamin C levels and antibiotic properties, they are a natural way to assist in the prevention of gum disease and to ease bacterial infections and colds.


Planting guide:
Dig hole slightly larger than root system. Remove container and place tree in hole, making sure bud union is at least 10cm above soil level. Fill with soil, leaving no air pockets, and build basin around tree to hold 10-12 litres of water.

Water immediately after planting, repeat next day, and then twice weekly for the first three weeks, then at weekly intervals for the first growing season.

Height: approx. 1.5m in pot, 3m in ground.
