Description of plant at maturity:
Popularity: The Afourer is a late season mandarin with a compact growth habit and few to no seeds.

Fruit:
The Afourer produces medium sized fruit with few to no seeds and smooth skin. Fruit is rich, sweet and very juicy with a subtle honey flavour.

Tree:
The Afourer is a smaller growing mandarin than the popular Imperial and Emperor, reaching only 3-4m in height. It tends to have some thorns.

Main Harvest:
It will produce its main crop in late winter to early spring.

Uses:
The Afourer is perfect for eating fresh and adding to desserts.

Planting guide: Dig hole slightly larger than root system. Remove container and place tree in hole, making sure bud union is at least 10cm above soil level. Fill with soil, leaving no air pockets, and build basin around tree to hold 10-12 litres of water.

Water immediately after planting, repeat next day, and then twice weekly for the first three weeks, then at weekly intervals for the first growing season.
