Description of plant at maturity:
A striking form of evening primrose. New growth emerging in the spring from winter dormancy appears as a deep plum colour. During the warmer months, foliage changes to mid green as it begins a prolific display of large, pale pink flowers lasting through the warmer months. Tolerates extreme cold as well as dry.

Dry tolerant once established. Best grown in full sun, although will tolerate some shade. Growth may be herbaceous in extreme cold. Plant in most soil tuypes that are well draining. Fertilise in spring.

Suited to containers, general garden use, informal or formal wildflower style gardens.
