Description of plant at maturity:
Popularity: The Leng Navel is another mutation of the Washington Navel orange. Whilst the flavour is slightly inferior, it offers thinner skin and ripens earlier. Fruit is also usually slightly smaller.

Fruit: Small to medium sized fruit with thin skin and juicy flesh. Fruit contains few seeds.

Tree: The Leng Navel grows to only 4m but tends to have some thorns.

Main Harvest:
It will fruit early in the season from Autumn to Winter. Plant with late season varieties for a near-year long supply of oranges.

Uses:
The Leng Navel is perfect for juicing and eating fresh.

Planting guide:
Dig hole slightly larger than root system. Remove container and place tree in hole, making sure bud union is at least 10cm above soil level. Fill with soil, leaving no air pockets, and build basin around tree to hold 10-12 litres of water.

Water immediately after planting, repeat next day, and then twice weekly for the first three weeks, then at weekly intervals for the first growing season.
