Description of plant at maturity:
Peaches grow in a range of soils. They prefer cold winters and a sunny position. To ensure large fruit, make sure water is kept up during fruit development. Thin fruit to maximise fruit size and to prevent brown rot.

Fruit: Large round oblong.
Skin: Red blush over yellow background.
Flesh: Yellow, juicy and sweet, fine textured, red around stone.
Stone: Freestone.
Maturity: Ripens mid February.
Comments: Still popular although many new varieties have taken its place. Suitable for drying. Self fertile.

Height: 1.5 – 2m and requires stalking

Watering: Keep moist (particularly in dry conditions)
