Prunus ''Pendula Alba'' - White Weeping Cherry

Description of plant at maturity:
A graceful, deciduous tree grown for its beautiful spring blossom.

Masses of beautiful white blooms appear on arched weeping branches. Suited to a fertile, free draining soil in a sunny position.

For best results, fertilise and mulch well using organic materials including well rotted compost. Water by deep soaking during hot periods. Select a site protected from wind.

Pruning in the early years is essential. Cut back to an upwards facing bud. Remove any weak or inward growing branches.

Ideally used as a specimen tree, paired or planted in groups or rows. As a feature, place in the centre of a mixed shrub bed, or with bulbs and annuals.
