Description of plant at maturity:
Syzygium Big Red is perfect for creating topiaries and standards. It’s fast growing and responds very well to shaping. It has deep red new growth changing green as it matures. Large, glossy leaves with new growth being one of the darkest crimson foliages available. White flowers borne over summer are followed by edible berries. Hardy, dry tolerant, and bird attracting.

Grows well in most soil types which are well draining. Protect from frosts when young. Prune to shape during early spring to encourage dense habit. Use a slow release fertiliser according to manufactures directions. Water requirements are low once established, requiring only an occasional long soak during extended periods of heat.

Height: 4m (can easily be maintained smaller by pruning)
