Description of plant at maturity:
A perennial herb that spreads by underground stems. Leaves are finely divided and golden-yellow. Button-like flowers appear in summer and autumn.

Use dried flower heads in arrangements or as an insect repellent. Leaves are said to be rich in potassium. Use to make compost.

Thrives in a sunny open position in well drained soil. Tolerant of dry conditions. Cut back to ground level after flowering.
