Description of plant at maturity:
A perennial lily related to the garlic, with beautiful small lilac flowers in warmer periods that that protrude above blue-green strappy foliage. Fast growing with edible leaves and flowers that somewhat resemble chives/spring onions, this lily is often planted as a feature in the kitchen garden, or simply used as a pretty ground cover and in rockeries.

Society garlic prefers a sunny moist position, but is drought and shade tolerant.
Divide and replant the rhizomes in spring to multiply this lily.
