Description of plant at maturity:
Grass Trees are an unusual and remarkably long lived evergreen tree, with a short, rough trunk and a tuft of stiff, narrow, arching green leaves 60-90cm long. During spring, plants may develop a tall, central spike with small white flowers. Flower spear can reach 2m long. Forms a new grass head after spear dries off.

An ideal feature plant for native gardens, shrubberies or in containers. Tolerates most soil types including poor soil and tolerates dry or very wet conditions. For best results, plant in well drained soil in full sun. Tolerates dryness and frost. Avoids excess fertiliser - use organic fertiliser for natives only.
