Brunnings Easy Wetta - Garden Mulch 70L

Description:
Brunnings Easy Wetta Garden Mulch is an organic, natural mulch that helps improve water and nutrient retention in soil.

It also:
- Protects plant and plants’ root system from extremes in climate and temperature by acting as a barrier.
- Helps keep weeds under control.
- Promotes healthy, vigorous plant growth.
- Improves soil structure and stimulates microbial soil and earthworm activity.
- Is ideal for top dressing pots and hanging baskets.

Application:
For garden beds: Remove all weeds for the area. Turn the soil over lightly to break up the surface. Water deeply around the plants. Apply the mulch evenly over the garden to a depth of about 5cm and fork mulch in to the top of the soil. Fertilise around the plants with a quality fertiliser such as Nitrophoska Slow Release. Water again to help layer settle.

For Sandy, Clay or Rock Soils:
Use a pick or fork to break up soil deeply. Apply mulch to cavities created. Spread Mulch loosely at a thickness of 50mm, do not compact down. Repeat at 3 monthly intervals, or until satisfactory results are achieved.

Top Dressing:
Ideal for topdressing pots and hanging baskets.

Handy Hint:
DO NOT CULTIVATE OR TURN OVER THE SOIL AFTER MULCHING WITH EASY WETTA MULCH AS DELICATE ORGANIC BONDS IN YOUR SOIL CAN BE BROKEN. THESE BONDS ARE VITAL FOR WATER AND NUTRIENT STORAGE.
