Description of plant at maturity:
A very attractive dwarf shrub, with tight, compact growth, approximately 2m high and 2m wide at full maturity. Foliage turns from a delightful red in the spring to a stunning copper in the summer, before returning back to red in autumn before the leaves fall.

Suited to garden beds or in containers on patios where the autumn foliage colour may be best appreciated. May also be grown as a bonsai plant.

Plant in a sunny to partly shaded position with well drained soil and sheltered from strong winds. Water well during the warmer months, especially in its first summer, to encourage deep root growth. In containers, water every 3-4 days, more often in hot weather.

Fertilise in early spring using a complete garden fertiliser or blood & bone at the recommended rate, and water in well.
