Description of plant at maturity:
Highly ornamental evergreen Australian native with an extended display of Hibiscus-like blooms.

Fast growing, medium sized, upright shrub with many branches covered by narrow, needle-like foliage of dark green. Whorled, purple/pink flowers have deep red centres and are produced over a very long period.

Prefers a sunny position in well drained soil but will tolerate semi-shade. Provide some protection from wind to avoid damage to the plant. Drought tolerant and can withstand light frost.

Prune to maintain shape after flowering if required. Use a fertiliser suitable for native plants over the warmer months, watering afterwards to prevent burn.

Ideal for creating a charming screen or informal hedge. Also makes for a wonderful feature plant. Perfect for waterwise gardens.
