Bougainvillea hybrid Smartie Pants

Description of plant at maturity:
Smartie Pants is a compact bougainvillea with a profusion of vibrant, cerise flower bracts produced in tight clusters throughout the warmer months.

Use in containers and garden beds to create a tropical feel to the garden or patio.

Prefers moist, well drained soils but will tolerate short dry periods once established. Prune after flowering to encourage new flowering wood. Apply an annual application of a low nitrogen fertiliser in spring. High nitrogen fertilisers encourage leaf growth at the expense of flowers.
