Description of plant at maturity:
The Native Leek, or Bulbine Lily, is a perennial native vegetable that produces edible seeds, roots and below-ground corms. The corms have a sweet flavour, whilst the roots resemble a mild onion flavour. The leaves are not edible.

The corm is ready to harvest once the leaves die back in summer.

Native leek prefers moist conditions. Choose a loamy soil in full sun or dappled shade. It is frost hardy.
