Cordyline Red Star will provide a red accent colour in your garden all year long. The Red Star is a low maintenance variety suitable for all styles of gardens. Cordyline species are a fashionable group of plants that provide an instant sculptural statement. An upright, palm-like small tree with pointed, ruby red to burgundy leaves, with mature plants producing sprays of creamy white flowers followed by small berries.

Their coloured leaves combined with statuesque appearance provide a dramatic visual effect, suiting Mediterranean, tropical and formal style gardens. They contrast superbly with shaped hedges, conjuring a relaxed and stylish look. Plant in groupings in your garden for dramatic visual effect. Well adapted to growing in patio pots, however will remain more compact. Very hardy, tolerates dry conditions. Suitable for coastal gardens.
