Description of plant at maturity:
Spring brings us the first show of very unusual vibrant red and purple flowers that resemble mouse ears - hence its name. Flowers appear in abundance during the warmer months and will continue on into autumn. Bright and intriguing display of violet, tubular flowers capped with two brilliant red petals make a showy display from spring to autumn. Easy to grow for gardens or containers. Frost and salt tolerant.

Prefers a full sun location but will tolerate low light areas. Grows well in most soil types which are moist but well draining. A light application of complete fertiliser and pruning to shape should be carried out during the warmer months. Mulch well to help retain moisture during dry periods.
