Description of plant at maturity:
A large strappy leaved clumping perennial with mid green foliage, growing to a metre tall. Tough, drought tolerant low maintenance plant for borders, pots or as an accent plant. Has attractive blue berries in summer, dainty small blue flowers on arching stems in spring. Suitde to cool temperate, tropical and semi-arid climates; moist clay loams, neutral to acidic pH soils.

Outstanding as a low maintenance container plant for a shady patio or balcony, or along pathways, or combined with bold rockwork. Feed with low phosphorus native fertiliser. Minimal maintenance, clip out older stems as required. Butterfly attracting. Tolerant of frosts and coastal conditions. Low water requirement once established.
