Gastrolobium praemorsum (syn. Brachysema praemorsum)

Description of plant at maturity:
A small prostrate, trailing shrub which in spring and summer bears a profusion of red, pea-flowers.

Tolerates full sun, but prefers dappled or partial shade and moist, well drained soil. Prune after flowering.

Cultivate soil before planting. Dig whole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from container and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill hole firmly and water in well even if the soil is moist.
