Description of plant at maturity:
Indigenous to South America these bright glossy berries, with a mouthwatering ‘fruit salad’ flavour, develop within unusual papery husks. Serve intact on top of salads or on the side of desserts, or use them to make delicious jams and jellies, in pies and smoothies

Product Specifications

How To Grow:
In pots or trays of seed raising mix in a sunny but sheltered position.Sow seed 5mm (1/4in) deep, firm down gently and keep moist. Seedlings appear 7-21 days. Transfer to final growing position when sturdy enough, spacing plants 50cm (20in) apart. Water and fertilise regularly. Harvest: 12-14 weeks from sowing when husks turn brown.
