Description of plant at maturity:
A hardy plant that produces interesting red flower spikes. A versatile, clump forming plant with strap like leaves, ideal for use in herbaceous borders, mixed garden beds, large pots and mass plantings. Suitable for cut flowers.

Kniphofias thrive in a warm sunny spot and require well drained, organic rich soil. Suitable for windy sites including coastal zones. Water well in summer until established. Mulching will help plants become established and will also decompose to improve organic matter in the soil. Remove spent flowers and fertilise during spring. Frost tolerant.
