Description of plant at maturity:
Popularity: The Japanese Seedless mandarin is an easy peeling, virtually seedless variety, making it child friendly and highly popular for the home garden.

Fruit:
The Japanese Seedless produces large fruit with smooth skin. It has a mild sweetness. Fruit does not hang well for long periods on the tree, but keeps well in the fridge.

Tree:
This variety is well suited to cooler climates with increased cold tolerance over other varieties. it is a medium sized tree with a spreading habit that is easily pruned. It has some thorns, and grows to only 4m.

Main Harvest:
The Japanese Seedless produces its main crop in Winter as an early maturing variety.

Uses:
This mandarin is a great addition to the home garden, and perfect for snacks and lunchboxes.

Planting guide: Dig hole slightly larger than root system. Remove container and place tree in hole, making sure bud union is at least 10cm above soil level. Fill with soil, leaving no air pockets, and build basin around tree to hold 10-12 litres of water.

Water immediately after planting, repeat next day, and then twice weekly for the first three weeks, then at weekly intervals for the first growing season.
