Mint is a perennial herb with strongly flavoured green leaves. Mint is a versatile herb that is popular in fresh drinks and smoothies, salads, hot dishes and sauces.

Choose a partly shaded position in rich, well drained soil. Prepare soil by incorporating organic matter such as compost prior to planting, or use premium potting mix in containers. Water in thoroughly after planting and keep moist in dry weather. Prune regularly to maintain a bushy habit.
