Budget Lawn Seed is suitable for over sow and new lawns. Budget Lawn Seed has a high minimum germination rate and is an economical choice for repairing bare spots or for new lawns. It is a soft textured lawn blend and can be sown 12 months of the year. For best results, the Budget Lawn Seed requires more water than Arid or Pixie Tall Fescue.

Contains: 75% Annual Ryegrass, 16% Perennial Ryegrass, 8% Improved Perennial Ryegrass and 1% Chewing Fescue

Coverage: 1kg covers 50 square meters

Application:
For new lawns: Level out the soil. Lightly rake the area one way to create furrows. You may wish to mix the seed with a lawn starter fertiliser. Broadcast seed over the area evenly and lightly rake in the opposite direction. It is important to keep the top 1cm of soil moist during the germination period.

For established lawns and oversowing: Mow existing lawn down close. You may wish to mix the seed with a lawn starter fertiliser. Broadcast seed over the area evenly and lightly dress with at least 1cm of sandy loam. It is important to keep the top 1cm of soil moist during the germination period.
