Description of plant at maturity:
This dramatic clump forming plant produces striking dark burgundy-almost black, upright foliage and is guaranteed to provide both form and colour for the garden. Foliage colour can be accentuated by planting in a position that will allow the plant to receive at least half a day of full sun. Brilliant effects can be achieved when Black Rage is planted as an individual specimen or mass planted.

Select a different colour form of Phormium to interplant to create some additional interest. Perfectly suited to coastal gardens, low maintenance gardens and container growing, the foliage can also be used to brilliant effect in floral arrangements. Phormiums grow in most soil conditions, however they prefer a moist, well drained position.
