Description:
Plums need as much sunlight as possible, without being exposed to excessive winds. Plums respond well to regular fertiliser inputs, especially during the fruiting season. Some plums find it harder to break bud and shoot after winter due to their thick canes. Ensure plums are well pruned back to thicker wood.

Fruit: Small to medium round.
Skin: Deep red to purple.
Flesh: Blood red, firm, tangy.
Stone: Freestone.
Maturity: Ripens mid February.
Pollinators: Mariposa, Santa Rosa, Wickson.
Comments: Most popular plum for the home garden. Prolific bearer.
Dwarf grows to 1.5 – 2m. Requires staking.
