Popularity:
The Seminole tangelo produces large fruit with unique flavour that somewhat resembles grapefruit. The Seminole is a late season variety.

Fruit:
Large, deep red-orange skinned fruit hangs on the tree well. Very juicy with a rich flavour, with quite a few seeds.

Trees:
The Seminole is a heavy cropping tree with slightly cupped leaves that offer great ornamental value. The tree will grow to 4m in height. Requires a mandarin pollinator.

Main Harvest:
Harvest the fruit throughout Spring, leaving it to fully develop on the tree for optimal flavour.

Uses:
Eat fresh or use in desserts.

Planting guide: Dig hole slightly larger than root system. Remove container and place tree in hole, making sure bud union is at least 10cm above soil level. Fill with soil, leaving no air pockets, and build basin around tree to hold 10-12 litres of water.

Water immediately after planting, repeat next day, and then twice weekly for the first three weeks, then at weekly intervals for the first growing season.
