Description of plant at maturity:
A highly ornamental, deciduous shrub with grey bark and oval leaves, which turn red in autumn. In late spring and early summer, small greenish flowers enlarge into large creamy-white spherical, snowball-like flowers - an beautiful striking feature plant in full bloom.

A showy, adaptable shrub which is ideal for specimen planting and for shrub borders. Thrives in moist, rich, well drained soil in a sunny position. Tolerates most soils and conditions, including wet and boggy sites.

Prune after flowering to maintain compact growth. Keep moist in dry weather. Tolerates light frosts.
